Relief Food06 April, 2015 Africa
The Maasai community live in the arid places in Kenya which are mostly affected by drought. They depend on livestock keeping which is not reliable during the dry spells as most of the animals die due to lack of food. Most families struggle to get something to eat even during the rainy seasons because the milk and meat is not sufficient, given that some of them don’t have any animals.
The organization therefore is working hard to ensure that the affected families have something to eat and most importantly, establish a sustainable model that will see the community improve its livelihood.
